Wú (吴) dialect is a Chinese dialect group mainly spoken in the southern Jiāngsū (江苏) province, Shànghǎi (上海) Municipality, most of Zhèjiāng (浙江) province and part of Jiāngxī (江西) province. Wú is the second largest dialect group in China.

Wu is preferably divided into Northern Wu and Southern Wu. Wu dialects include those of Shanghai, Suzhou, Wuxi, Wenzhou, Ningbo, Hangzhou, Shaoxing, Jinhua, and Yongkang.
