Voiceover

Occitan language (also called Provençal or Languedoc) is a Romance language spoken in southern France. All Occitan speakers use French as their official and cultural language, but Occitan dialects are used for daily communication. Key Dialects are Northern Occitan, Southern or Middle Occitan and Gascon. It is also spoken in Italy's Occitan Valleys, Monaco, and Spain's Val d'Aran; collectively, these regions are sometimes referred to unofficially as Occitania. Occitan is an official language in Catalonia, where a subdialect of Gascon known as Aranese is spoken in the Val d'Aran.
