Voiceover

Võro (võru kiil) language is one of the South Estonian varieties of Balto-Finnic (Finno-Ugric family). Other languages in this group include Mulgi, Tartu, and Seto.

Võro language (Murdekeel) differs significantly from standard and common Estonian on all linguistic aspects – phonology, morphology, syntax, and vocabulary. The most prominent features include vowel harmony, a glottal stop in nominative plural, a different third person singular in the indicative mood, and a negative particle following the verb. Dialects vary as per regions.
