Mooré or simply the Mossi language, is one of two official regional languages of Burkina Faso. It is placed in the Oti-Volta Subgroup of the Gur languages. It is also spoken to some extent in Mali and Togo. Alternate names include Mole, Moose, More, and Moshi. It is essentially a tonal language. Many regional dialects exists.
